The "pay on-line" option is for existing Douglas County Rideshare patrons only. If you have not registered with the Douglas County Rideshare office, located at 8800 Dorris Road, Douglasville Ga 30134, do NOT pay to join one of these vans. You will need to sign a release and staff will need to verify that there is, in fact, space available on the van.

Transportation Voucher Program
Douglas County Rideshare offers a Transportation Voucher Program for senior adults and disabled individuals. The purpose of the Voucher Program is to assist senior adults, age 60 and over, and disabled individuals, age 19 to 59, in paying for "quality of life" trips for purposes such as shopping, entertainment and visiting with friends and family. The seniors and disabled who are approved to participate in the program contact designated transportation providers directly to arrange trips and pay for them using vouchers they purchase at a highly discounted rate from the Mobility Coordinator who is a member of the Rideshare staff. The Voucher Program offers assistance to seniors and the disabled with planning trips, particularly trips that offer a connection with a neighboring transportation provider such as MARTA or Cobb Community Transit. Rideshare is also recruiting local transportation providers including taxi companies, van services and non-emergency medical transportation services to participate in the Voucher Program. Seniors, disabled individuals and transportation providers who would like more information about the Voucher Program can contact Mobility Coordinator Lawanda Jones at 770-920-7437 or email@example.com.
