1. How do I register for the Responsible Alcohol Sales & Service (RASS) training?

2. Do all my employees have to complete the training?
Yes. Managers attend RASS every 2 years and Employees must attend Employee Training yearly.

3. Can I make application and complete the training later?
No. A copy of your training certificate must be submitted at the time of application.

4. What are the distance requirements for churches, schools and residential dwellings?
No alcoholic beverages shall be sold closer than six hundred (600) feet to a church, school, or day care. No alcoholic beverages shall be sold closer than one hundred (100) feet to a residential dwelling. A certified survey plat showing the property meets the distance requirements must be submitted at the time of application. See Douglas County Alcoholic Beverages Ordinance Sec. 3-30 and Sec. 3-49 .

5. Can my beer and wine license be transferred?
All license transfers must be approved by the Chairman of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. The cost is $250.00 application fee and $500.00 upon approval for Beer or Wine. The cost is $250.00 application fee and $5000.00 upon approval for Liquor.
