    Thursday, December 13, 7:00 p.m.:

On December 13, join Douglasville First United Methodist Church for the Blue Christmas worship service at 7:00pm. Not all Christmases are white; some are blue. Though most people are singing, socializing, and enjoying life to the fullest some feel more lost, more abandoned, and more lonely this time of year more than ever. Losses, hardships, or shattered hopes are especially painful alone. In this service of light and shadows, our prayer is that we might awaken to new paths of joy and light while being honest about our deepest fears. Stephen Ministers will be present for prayer. A hot cider and cocoa reception to follow. Douglasville First United Methodist Church is located at 6167 Prestley Mill Road, across the street from Douglas Hospital.
