May: Law Enforcement Appreciation Month
In 1962, President Kennedy designated May as "Law Enforcement Appreciation Month". Douglas County is privileged to have over 350 brave officers who selflessly serve and protect our community. We ask you to show your appreciation to them by tying a blue ribbon on your vehicle, and by saying "thank you" when you see them in Public this month.
