New Class HULA HOOPING 101 AEROBICS EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT AT 7 PM . The beautiful Boundary Waters Aquatic Center features an 8-lane, 25-yard heated competition pool, and a 4-lane, heated therapeutic/teaching pool.

The Aquatic Center was designed and constructed with SPLOST funds. Thanks to the citizens of Douglas County for this wonderful facility!

S.E.A.L.S SWIM LESSON PROGRAM 
Operating Hours and Rates
Operating hours beginning August 3rd 2009 are Mon.-Fri. 8 am to 8:30 pm Sat. 8 am to 5:30 pm Sun. 1 pm to 5:30 pm. The Aquatic center is closed the last Sunday of every month. Check the facility calendar for other closings.

Swim School Registration Call now for upcoming classes
REGISTER NOW for April and May swim lessons. The S.E.A.L.S. (swimmers earning a lifelong skill) swim lesson program is a year-round swimming instructional program dedicated to teaching kids, youth, teens and adults to swim in a warm, supportive and fun environment! Welcome New Program Coordinator
Jim Gay is a new staff person at Boundary Waters Aquatic Center but he is not new to the Douglas County Parks and Recreation Dept. Jim has worker for Douglas County as a Program Assistant at Deerlick Park where he developed and emplemented Community Programs and Special Events. His work at the aquatic center will involve coordination of S.E.A.L.S. Swim Lessons, the Under Water Egg Hunt,the Last Chance Triathlon and 5K and other Special Events. Pool Rules
  • All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
  • All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult in a swimsuit.
  • Infants must wear "swimmies" in the pool.
  • Underwear and shorts are not substitutes for a swim suit and will not be allowed in the pool.
  • No running, boisterous or rough play will be allowed.
  • People with open wounds, skin, eye or nasal infections are not allowed in the pools.
  • No food, drinks or gum are allowed on the pool deck or in the locker rooms.
  • No alcohol or drugs are allowed in the Aquatic Center, and no person using these substances may use the pools.
  • Competition pool lanes are for lap swimmers only.
  • People may not wear street shoes on the pool deck.


Birthday Parties
Have your child's birthday party at the Aquatic Center! They can , have a private birthday party in the meeting room and enjoy swimming for up to 20 guests.( tables and chairs provided). You may bring refreshments for the kids. Party favors such as "silly string" are prohibited. You will have the room for 1 1/2 hours. This includes your set up and clean up time. Then one hour of swim time after room time. Reservations required.
