Transportation Investment Act (TIA) Joint Public Information Meetings. City of Douglasville and Douglas County Discretionary Transportation Projects Forum for the July 31st Regional Transportation Referendum:
•Thursday, May 17th 6 to 8 PM at the Douglas County Courthouse
•Monday, June 11th 6 to 8 PM at the City of Douglasville Downtown Conference Center
At these meetings, the public will be presented proposed local transportation projects within the City of Douglasville and within Douglas County for consideration to be included as part of the local discretionary funds as part of the TIA referendum. The TIA allows voters in the Atlanta region to provide funding for local and regional transportation projects and programs over a 10-year period through a 1 % sales tax.
