Living. Growing. Prospering.
Douglasville, GA - Douglas County Commission Chairman, Dr. Romona Jackson Jones and the Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on March, 19th, 2019, approving the graphic design and color palate for the latest Douglas County government branding logo. This new fresh vibrant design and color palate aligns with the Douglas County Strategic Plan called "Live outside the Lines" by investing in the community to increase resiliency and prosperity for everyone.
The logo and branding efforts were developed by county staff External Affairs Director, Tiffany Stewart-Stanley and dctv 23 Station Manager, TJ Jaglinski. "I appreciate the teamwork, talent and time devoted to creating a fresh image for our thriving county, said County Administrator, Mark Teal. "Citizens will see a revitalized Douglas County brand that exemplifies intrinsic innovation with the utilization of internal resources to curtail taxpayer investment," said Douglas County Commission Chair Romona Jackson Jones.
This is the first ever milestone branding logo initiative in Douglas County government; however, the county seal will not change. "Douglas County is a progressive, transparent, and 21st century government and our novel branding reflects our strong sense of creativity and inclusivity," said Director of External Affairs Tiffany Stewart-Stanley. "During the forthcoming months, the new Douglas County branding logo will be integrated on printed materials, signage and other imagery communications through-out Douglas County government."
