Legislative Meetings
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners meets in regular Public session in accordance with the following schedule:- Legislative Meeting on first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.;
- Joint Meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.; and
- Legislative Meeting on the third Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.
All meetings are open to the Public and are held in Citizen's Hall, Main Floor, Douglas County Courthouse. All Commission meetings are broadcast live on dctv23 and simulcast on the County web site.
Agendas for the Board of Commissioners' meetings are downloadable from the right of this narrative. Agendas are subject to change after publication by a motion of any Commissioner during the legislative meeting, and agenda items may be tabled by motion during the meeting.
Minutes of Board of Commissioners' meetings are available from the County Clerk after their approval. Agendas and minutes of past Board of Commissioners' meetings are now available by clicking on "Research" on this web site's navigation bar.

Work Sessions
Work Sessions of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners are normally held on the day before the regularly scheduled legislative meeting at 10:00 a.m. These Monday meetings are open to the Public and are held in the Board of Commissioners' Conference Room, Third Floor, Douglas County Courthouse. Due to Monday holidays and other scheduling conflicts, the Work Sessions are sometimes re-scheduled to the week prior to the Commission meeting - these rescheduled meetings are always announced in advance, and posted on dctv23.
Work Session agendas are downloadable from the right of this narrative. Work Session agendas are compiled by the County Clerk and approved by the County Administrator, and may be amended during the Work Session by the Board of Commissioners.
