Overview:
Saturday, September 22nd Heroes Day + Touch-a-Truck Experience
Saturday, September 29th Familly Day + Artist's and Craftsmen's Market
Mark your calendars! Come out and join your friends and neighbors for two Saturdays of fun, music, fellowship, and community!
The single purpose of September Saturdays is the building of community. That's it - providing a time and a place where the residents of our County can come together in a fun atmosphere to see old friends and neighbors, and to meet new ones. A community can only get stronger when it communicates!
September Saturdays is unique in that it is held on two consecutive Saturdays in September, so that people have two chances to attend. There is no cost to attend - charging for any festival feature might preclude someone from coming, and this festival is for everyone. Festival expenses are paid by Douglas County and the generosity of community minded businesses, so that the festival and all features can have free admission.

Communities in Schools of Douglas County
The proceeds from vendor space rentals in the Community Marketplace go to benefit Communities in Schools of Douglas County, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides after-school programs and mentoring for Douglas County School System students. The Mission of Communities in Schools is to help young people successfully learn, stay in school, and prepare for life. No tax dollars can be used for this program, so it is dependent on grants and donations to help at-risk students become a success.
