Provides leadership and direction for the Douglas County Board of Commissioner’s involvement in all political and legislative processes as it affects current programs and new business opportunities
Directs lobbying efforts for Douglas County at the State Capitol and in Washington D.C. to include the development of a legislative portfolio and the county’s political and legislative strategies
Conducts pre-award grant oversight and administration for Douglas County
Directs and coordinates public outreach programs to create opportunities for dialogue between the Board of Commissioners and citizens to ensure an inclusive, transparent, accessible, and responsible government
Develops and implements strategic plans to brand Douglas County and manages relationships with all the county's external stakeholders.
