During this COVID-19 pandemic that has affected every person and industry, we want the citizens, businesses, and stakeholders of Douglas County to know that your SPLOST dollars and projects are still being managed. Please contact us with any questions by visiting  www.2016splost.com or contacting our SPLOST Communications Director David Good at 2016splost@gmail.com.

We have several of our larger projects either completed or nearing completion: Douglas County's $16 million Public Safety Radio Systems has been completed and came in under budget and is in service. The almost 19,000 Square ft Lithia Springs Senior Center has been built and will be ready for programming.  The construction of the 30,000 Square ft Boundary Waters Activity Center and the replacement of the Whitestone Culvert on White Stone Boulevard are nearing completion.  We have more projects in some phase of procurement, scope, design, or construction. Such as replacing the Post Road bridge over Dog River, improving the intersection of Stewart Mill Road @ Reynolds Road, and replacing the concessions at Bill Arp Park & FairPlay Park.  Many projects have already been completed. You can see what those projects are by viewing the monthly reports on our website, www.2016splost.com
