Douglasville, Georgia – The Douglas County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously 5-0 at Tuesday, June 8th, commission meeting to approve funding for the 2021 resurfacing program that would provide resurfacing for 21.5 miles of roads throughout Douglas County.
Most of the cost of the resurfacing is being funded by the local 2016 SPLOST program with some funding by the Georgia Department of Transportation (LMIG) grant. Citizens can check to see which roads are part of the resurfacing by going to the Douglas County government website www.celebratedouglascounty.com
Citizens can also visit the Transportation Department webpage for additional information on which roads have already been resurfaced.
