Early Voting is Underway in Douglas County

Douglas County, GA – The Douglas County Elections & Voter Registration Department through the Board of Commissioners has announced several locations where citizens can vote.  Early advance voting for the General Primary Election started on May 2.

“My advice for citizens that are participating in the electoral process is to “make a plan to vote and plan to vote,” said Milton Kidd, Douglas County Elections Director. “Their plan should include knowing where the advance voting sites are located, the times they are open, and becoming familiar with the three ballots.”

Here is the list of advance voting sites in Douglas County:

  • Old Courthouse
  • Woodie Fite Senior Center
  • Dog River Library
  • Deer Lick Park
  • Lithia Springs Senior Center
  • Boundary Waters Aquatic Center

The voting sites are open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm until May 20th. Saturday Voting is available on May 7th and May 14th at the Douglas County Courthouse, the Woodie Fite Senior Center, the Dog River Library, and the Deer Lick Park. Early voting ends Friday, May 20th.
