Douglas County Chairman Romona Jones Jackson hosts Virtual Town Hall Meeting with County Health Officials


Chairman Romona Jackson Jones will host a virtual meeting with special guests, Dr. Janet Memark, Director of Cobb and Douglas Public Health, and Deputy Director Lisa Crossman Cobb and Douglas County Public Health. Together, they will provide residents with a COVID-19 Update.   

 

“As an elected official who spent years in the health field, I believe we should make sure our residents receive the most updated information regarding COVID-19, said Douglas County Chairman Romona Jones Jackson,”  “People need to make the best decisions when it comes to their health and the health of their family and friends. This epidemic is still here, and we must remain vigilant by providing the most relevant information. That’s why town hall meetings are important to the Board of Commissioners and me.” 

Citizens can watch/join the virtual town hall meeting via the Douglas County Happenings Facebook page on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.
