COVID-19 Update:



Dear Douglas County Citizens:

Effective May 1st beginning at noon, the following trails and/or walking tracks, and disc golf courses will reopen for public use and thereafter will be open daily 8:00 a.m. until dark.:

Parks with Walking Trails and/or Tracks:
Clinton Park
Deer Lick Park
Boundary Waters trails
Dog River trails
woodrow Wilson
FairPlay Park walking track

Parks with Disc Golf Courses:
Dog River Park
Boundary Waters Park
Deer Lick Park

All facilities, restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds are still closed to the public. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Deer Lick Park staff (770) 920-7129 and Boundary Waters Park staff (770) 489-2175 are available for inquiries. We strongly encourage everyone to adhere to Social Distancing and all other guidelines set forth by the CDC to prevent the spread of COVID19. Accessible Playground (open during normal park hours)

This is a non-monitored playground for children of all ages and abilities. Please use at your own risk, and adults must monitor their children at all times. Please excuse our progress. During the construction of new tennis courts, please consider using the facilities in Deer Lick Park. The restrooms at the Animal Shelter may not be available depending on the operating hours.

Skateboard Park: (open during normal park hours)
This is a skate at your own risk facility. Please know your ability and use the facility accordingly.

Dog Park: (open during normal park hours)
Located behind the Family Fun Center at Deer Lick Park. Off-leash and accessible from the Deer Lick Park Tennis Courts. Separate areas available for dogs under 30 lbs and dogs over 30 lbs. People and puppy water fountains available.
