Dear Douglas County Citizens:

On May 1 at noon the trail system and disc golf course at the following parks: Boundary Waters Trails and Disc Golf, Deer Lick Walking Track and Disc Golf Dog River Trails and Disc Golf, Fairplay Walking Track, Woodrow, Wilson Walking Track, and Clinton Walking Track and Nature Trails will be open for public use. Park hours will be from 8am – Dark. We highly encourage social distancing and for you to follow any guidelines set by the CDC. The Baseball and Football fields are still closed until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.

Bill Arp Park is located near the intersection of Georgia Highway 5 and Pool Road, with entrances off both roads. The park includes a playground, 4 youth baseball fields, 1 regulation size football field, and 2 concessions stands. Bill Arp offers the following programs: Baseball, Softball and Football.

Registration for Baseball and Softball begin in January for Spring and August for Fall.

Youth Sport Coordinator
